OBJECTIVES
All operator training courses are designed to train the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge of basic woodworking and timber specific Lift Truck operation, This is to the nationally recognised levels of skill, ability & safety as laid down in the Approved Code of Practice (L116) relating to section 2 of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, and encompasses the following legislation
The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
The Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.
The Workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1992.
The Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996.
The Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992.
