This course is designed to instruct operators in the
correct and safe methods of roping and slinging loads, and give practical safety
knowledge of the lifting equipment.
Objectives
By the end of this course the delegates
will be able to:
- Show an understanding of their legal
duties.
- Understand the limitations or
otherwise of equipment available.
- Understand correct procedures in
slinging loads.
- Identify faults in chain, wire rope,
fibre rope and flat-web slings.

- Hooking up procedures.
- Recognition, care and maintenance of

experience)

delegates demonstrating the correct levels of understanding and practical
