MOBILE ELEVATED WORKING PLATFORMS

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the HASAWA regulations with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 instructing delegates in all aspects of the correct preparation, testing and hiring of this equipment.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Have an understanding of the Regulations and Legal Obligations

• Have knowledge and understanding of specific tool hire regulations & requirements

• Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of machine cleaning and inspection

• Undertake the safe charging of motive batteries

• Have a basic understanding of the operation and controls            

• Examine & Test machines for safety

• Have knowledge and understanding of correct recording procedures

• Undertake pre hire checks

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Full tool hire certification will be issued to delegates demonstrating the correct levels of understanding and practical skills.
