This course is designed to acquaint prospective 'In
Company' Manual handling instructors with the techniques required to pass on
correct information and practical demonstrations in specific relation to the
Manual Handling Regulations.
Objectives
By the end of this course the delegates
will be able to:
- Show an understanding of employers /
employees legal duties.
- Display full knowledge of the
training requirements of the Manual Handling Regulations.
- Recognise, understand and relay to
trainees, the impact of bad lifting techniques.
- Recognise, and relay to trainees
correct lifting methods and techniques.
- Demonstrate the correct proceedures.
- Demonstrate the correct use of
lifting aids.
- Evaluate the training course,
candidates absorption of information.
- Correct course content and update
courses as appropriate.
