MANUAL HANDLING TRAINING

This course is designed to instruct staff in the correct and safe methods of manual handling. The course is tailored to the wide ranging working environments and loads within tool hire, as well as the specific programme described in the Regulations.

OBJECTIVE

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

• Show an understanding of their legal duties

• Recognise the impact of poor lifting techniques

• Recognise correct lifting methods and techniques

• Demonstrate the correct procedures

• Demonstrate the correct use of lifting aids
