ETS offer a fully approved one day basic Appointed Person First Aid Course. This course will enable your company to fulfil the legal requirements regarding the appointment of such staff. The number of appointed persons required is dependant on the size of your company and the amount of employees that you have.

The added benefit of the training is having staff knowledgeable in the procedures for attending to injuries or illnesses most likely to be encountered in the workplace. This means that non life threatening occurrences can be dealt with promptly and safely, leading to a reduction in stress and lost time.

Course Content includes

• First Aider aims and responsibilities

• Initial primary survey

• Injury or illness diagnosis

• Basic life support

• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• The recovery position

• Wounds and bleeding

• Bandaging

• Basic first aid equipment
